The CCCC is the recognised breed club for the Cardigan Welsh Corgi in Canada.

Come to beautiful Harrison Park in Owen Sound for the 2008 National Specialty. Located on the shores of Georgian Bay approximately 170 km NW of Toronto, Owen Sound and the Grey Bruce Kennel Club offer a lovely outdoor venue with camping facilities available on site. The club will also be offering obedience, agility, and rally-o trials.

Raffle Tickets

Our club relies on your donations to make our raffle a success. It is time for members to put their talents and efforts to good use and help support our club by making a raffle donation. All proceeds will go to the CCCC to recover ongoing expenses. Your support is greatly appreciated!

The Store

The store will be open to everyone at the specialty. The store has a variety of items such as spinners, flags, and clothing. For a full list of items available through the store, please refer to the attached order forms.

Annual Banquet

This year our banquet will be held at Stone Tree Golf Club on August 6, 2008. The buffet menu planned is: garden salad, Caesar salad, roast beef au jus, roast chicken, vegetable medley, roasted potatoes, rolls and butter, assorted desserts, coffee and tea. The price per person is $25.00 which includes all taxes and gratuities. Because our meals will be pre-ordered, we regret that there will be no “walk ins” at our dinner. Please plan to attend and let us know by July 24, 2008.

Join us for a lovely meal, good conversation, friendship, some laughter, and of course, our one of a kind raffle.

Specialty Clothing

This year your show committee is pleased and excited to announce the addition of new items to our clothing line. Available this year will be fleece vests, long sleeved denim shirts, golf shirts, and grooming aprons. Our newly designed embroidered logo will appear on the upper left side of each item.

There will be a limited selection of specialty clothing available at the show along with many other store items. To ensure that you get your choice of size and color (see attached order form), you may preorder your items and pick them up at the show. For those unable to attend, your order will be shipped to you after the event. The deadline for preorders is July 1, 2008.

Don’t miss this opportunity to take home “A Little Corgi Magic” of your own.

Photo Contest

Also new this year we will be holding a photography contest at the show. You may submit an entry whether or not you are planning to attend. There will be a prize for the best photo in show and prizes for the winners in each category. The three categories are as follows: puppy, general, and comedy. Judging will be done by votes cast by the general public.

The photos need to be 8”x10”, matted in black, and have all the entry information on the back. The finished product will be approximately 12”x16”. The entry information should include the full name of the photographer, address, telephone number, email address and the category entering. All photos must include a Cardigan Corgi. The entry fee is $5.00 per photo.

Photos will be returned if submitted with a postage paid return package. Entries submitted without the return postage and/or package cannot be returned and therefore will become the property of CCCC for use in various future projects. Entries must be received by July 6, 2008. This contest is open to amateur photographers only.

Kindly remember to note “photo contest” on the bottom of your cheque.
