The CCCC is the recognised breed club for the Cardigan Welsh Corgi in Canada.

Each year since 1987, the CCCC has held a national specialty. It is a policy of the club, so far as is practical, to hold the specialty in all the regions of Canada. Some years the show is "stand-alone", but most years it is held in conjunction with an all-breed show.

The first Canadian Cardigan Corgi Club National Specialty was held at Fort Erie, Ontario in May 1987 in a partnership with the Cardigan Welsh Corgi Club of America National Specialty the preceding day in Olean, New York. Betty McHugh judged regular classes and obedience, Sue Bain judged Puppy Sweepstakes. Entry was 170.

The 2008 national specialty is scheduled for Owen Sound, Ontario on August 6. Click here for details.
