On Saturday May 6th and Sunday May 7th, Deb Reid, Ontario Director and Catt Skimmin, Treasurer of the Canadian Cardigan Corgi Club held two events to encourage Cardigan owners to come out and try something new with their dogs. On Saturday, two introduction to Barn Hunt workshops were held and there were 6 Cardigans among the participants. While they may be pastoral dogs, the Cardigans were quite the rat finders. On Sunday, there was a sponsored Sprinter heat at the Red Barn Event Centre for Cardigans along with a lunch and prizes afterwards. 12 Cardigans chased the “bunny” and everyone had a blast – people and dogs alike.
